Charlie Taylor Steps Down as Chair of Dallaglio RugbyWorks

Dallaglio RugbyWorks announces today that Charlie Taylor will be stepping down from his role as Chair of Trustees at the end of this academic year.

Charlie has served with unwavering commitment, helping to guide the organisation through a period of growth and transformation, and playing a key role in shaping our mission to support young people through the power of sport.

As HM Chief Inspector of Prisons, Charlie brought invaluable insight into the challenges facing young people in the justice system. His deep understanding, combined with his belief in the potential of every young person, has helped RugbyWorks to evolve and increase its impact.

“It’s been a real privilege to chair Dallaglio RugbyWorks and be part of such an inspiring team. I’ve seen firsthand the difference this charity makes to the lives of young people who deserve a second chance. I’ll always remain a passionate supporter of the work RugbyWorks does.”

Charlie Taylor

Under his stewardship, we have expanded our reach, strengthened our partnerships, and deepened our support for those who need it most.

We are immensely grateful for the time, leadership, and passion Charlie has brought to our organisation. His influence on our strategy, culture, and impact will be felt for years to come.

Charlie will remain involved during the transition period as we begin the search for our next Chair of Trustees. We’ll be sharing more about that process soon and look forward to celebrating Charlie’s incredible contribution in the months ahead.
