Job Overview
As a Regional Programme Lead at Dallaglio RugbyWorks, you'll sit as a bridge between frontline delivery and the Programme Manager, staying embedded in sessions while supporting the development of the region and working with your Programme Manager to bring our strategic objectives to life.
You'll deliver our programmes to young people who experience school exclusion or are at risk of it, working hands-on in sessions across your region. Delivery stays at the core of the role, and alongside it, you'll take on leadership of the wider region: supporting and developing a team of delivery staff, coordinating Career Taster Days across your region, and building partnerships with schools and external stakeholders. You'll model best practice in every session you deliver, and use that same standard to support your team, troubleshoot operational challenges, and keep safeguarding and reporting embedded across all activity in your region.

Job Overview
As a Youth Development Mentor at Dallaglio RugbyWorks, you'll work with young people who experience school exclusion or are at risk of it, including many that other adults have struggled to connect with. Working with small groups taking a trauma-informed, asset-based approach. You'll deliver a curriculum designed around four cornerstones: developing life skills, raising aspirations, improving physical wellbeing, and supporting mental wellbeing.
You'll deliver across our suite of interventions in a range of settings, combining sports-based activities, mentoring, and workshops. Alongside delivery, you'll liaise with schools and delivery venues and coordinate wider programme activities like trips, tournaments, and Career Taster Days.
You'll bring passion, adaptability, and energy to the role, along with a genuine commitment to the social development of excluded young people. Rugby knowledge isn't a requirement, just a willingness to get stuck in with the sport. You're one of the crucial links between a young person and their path to sustained education, employment, or training.
Life at Dallaglio RugbyWorks
First things first, you don't need to be rugby mad to join our squad. What matters to us is that you're passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.
At Dallaglio RugbyWorks, our values are at the heart of everything we do.
This is our common goal and like any professional sports team, we need our squad to be made up of players and support staff with a range of skills, backgrounds and experiences. We are committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion within our workplace.
Our recruitment ethos is that this is a two way process. While we are searching for our new top try scorer to join the squad, we also recognise that you will want to know about working for us and our culture.
Our playbook
Play as a team
We think like a professional rugby team. We care about each other and look after each other but we always hold each other to account. We are here to perform and we care about every 1% because we know that they make the difference when added together. If we each do our job well, hundreds of young people have a better shot at life, and that’s worth playing for.
High energy
We always operate with energy, showing young people that a positive mindset and commitment to action is the hardest step on any journey. For us, the way we play is as important as what we achieve. Win or lose, attitude is everything.
Future focused
Everyone makes mistakes, including us. We always focus on what we learned and how we can do things differently in the future. We believe life is about learning from your mistakes, not letting them define you.
Tell it like it is
We believe in calling things straight. Honesty is always the best policy and direct, transparent feedback is powerful. We always do it with respect.
