Macquarie show support during their social mobility week

During May 2020, Macquarie Group, one of our valuable supporters, have been hosting their Social Mobility Week through their Foundation, which recognises the charities they support across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Macquarie support charities like ourselves to help young people climb up the social mobility ladder to achieve successful pathways into further employment, training or education.

As part of the week, Laura Thompson, Senior Manager, Financial Management Group at Macqaurie, shared her thoughts of volunteering with us.

"As a volunteer with RugbyWorks, we’ve organised career insight visits to our offices, attended RugbyWorks education sessions at schools, taken part in rugby activities and organised groups of Macquarie employees to participate in the touch rugby tournament each summer, with all entry fees going to RugbyWorks."
