The lifetime cost to the state of permanently excluding one young person is estimated to be £370,000 & 63% of the prison population has been excluded from school.
Exclusions
By 25, only 23% of free school meal recipients earn more than the annual equivalent of Living Wage, versus 43.5% of those that weren’t eligible.

Our staff work hard to build these relationships with young people and understand that to help them facilitate change it takes time to build a strong stable mentor relationship.
