School Sports Week ‘22

Dallaglio Rugbyworks is proud to be supporting the Youth Sport Trust’s National School Sports Week 2022. This year’s theme is belonging – a place in sport for every child, this theme is one close to our hearts as it  encompasses what we stand for, giving young people excluded from school a chance to take part in sport and use the life skills developed through sport to change their life’s course.

We work with some of the most deprived areas of the UK with some of the most vulnerable young people. We believe in giving these young people opportunities to get involved with sport and reengage with education. We also are keen on engaging with these young people during out of school hours and provide free holiday camps targeted to the young people we work with but also other young people in low socioeconomic areas.

Sport has many benefits for young people including physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, socialisation and developing key life skills all key values of the Dallaglio RugbyWorks interventions.

“Along with organisation like the School Sports Trust Dallaglio RugbyWorks knows the incredible impact sport can have on transforming young people lives.

Sport directly teaches much needed life skills, team work, respect, creativity and fairness to name but a few.

At Dallaglio RugbyWorks we always tell it like it is, bring high energy to our work with young people, help them focus on their future and always get them playing as a team.

We passionately believe there must be a place in sport for every child.”
