Dallaglio Cycle Slam has been postponed until next summer following Covid-19 outbreak

Our biennial fundraising cycling event, Dallaglio Cycle Slam, has been postponed until summer 2021 due to the ongoing outbreak of Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

With the pandemic affecting several countries across Europe, including Spain where stages one and two of Cycle Slam were set to take place, the decision was made to reschedule the event until next year.

Speaking on the postponement, Jason Worthy, CEO of Dallaglio RugbyWorks, said: “Our priority is the health and safety of everyone involved in Dallaglio Cycle Slam, from our brilliant riders to our staff and suppliers, therefore we have ultimately taken the decision to postpone the event.

“This is extremely disappointing but ultimately the correct decision considering the current environment which we are living in. We are now looking forward to welcoming everyone in Spain and Portugal in 2021 and promise to put on an unforgettable adventure for all that participate'

“The continued support of everyone through their involvement in Cycle Slam and other RugbyWorks activity enables us to provide the best chance for the young people on our programme to thrive in society, and we hope to have your continued backing during the uncertain times ahead.”
