Dallaglio RugbyWorks is an intensive, long-term skills development programme based on rugby, through which we aim to get teenagers outside of mainstream education into sustained education, employment or training.

Dallaglio RugbyWorks launches three year partnership with St. James's Place Charitable Foundation at Kingston Park, Newcastle.

We are delighted to have entered into a three-year working partnership with the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation. Over this period, the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation will donate £150,000 to the programme enabling us to deliver much of our work in the North East to help make a tangible, positive change for disadvantaged teenagers in the region.

On Monday 22nd January, we joined together to launch the partnership with St. James's Place at Kingston Park, the home of Newcastle Falcons. Representatives from St. James's Place ran an employability day for teenagers on the Dallaglio RugbyWorks programme at Moorbridge PRU and New Bridge Academy.  Falcons players Zach Kibirige, Callum Chick and Dom Waldouck together with Lawrence Dallaglio then joined the group for a rugby session on the pitch.

Mark Longbottom, Head of Foundation at the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation said: “We are delighted to be able to support such an effective programme, that has delivered demonstrable results in creating positive futures for young people, who have experienced disadvantage in their lives. We wish the programme continued success over the next three years.”

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone at St. James's Place for their significant support, alongside Kingston Park for hosting the event.
